The Finance Department was established to provide the city with a wide range of financial, analytical, and administrative functions. Various controls have been set in place to account for all city financial transactions, the general underlying procedure for which are articulated in the city’s Investment Policy and affirmed as part of the city’s annual audit process and the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
