Chicago Executive Airport The Chicago Executive Airport is owned jointly by the City of Prospect Heights and the Village of Wheeling. Chicago Executive Airport is the third busiest airport in Illinois and was once the busiest private airport in the U.S. The City is also only 15 minutes from O'Hare International Airport.
Metra Passenger Services Metra's North Central Service Line runs from Antioch to Chicago's Union Station. The service provides a Western Avenue stop for a.m. bus connections to North Michigan Avenue and a transfer stop at O'Hare International Airport. Commuter parking is available at the Prospect Heights Train Station for $1.50 per day. Monthly parking lot permits are available at City Hall or mail the application to City of Prospect Heights, 8 N. Elmhurst Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. The train station and parking lot are located at 101 S. Wolf Road (Wolf & Edward), just south of Camp McDonald Road. 382 parking spaces are available, along with 8 handicap stalls, 6 motorcycle stalls with posts for locking, 4 bicycle racks, and a Kiss "N" Ride drop-off area. Train and bus schedules are available at City Hall.
