Important Dates for the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election

City Hall Offices will be open regular business hours from Tuesday, December 18th through Friday, December 21st and Wednesday, December 26th from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
City Hall Offices will be CLOSED - Monday, December 24th and Tuesday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas Holiday.
The last day to file candidate objections is Wednesday, December 26th, 2018 by 5:00pm.
Thursday, January 24th: Last day to file a Withdrawal of Candidacy with the local election official or authority.
Thursday,
January 31st
: Last day to file a notarized declaration of intent to be a write–in candidate (5 p.m.)


Certification of Ballot Deadlines

Thursday, January 24th: Certification of Ballot by local election authorities

 

Voter Registration, Grace Period, Early Voting & Mail Voting Dates

Friday,February 15th: Military & overseas ballots available

Thursday, February 21st: Statutory start of Early Voting

Tuesday, March 5th: Voter registration closes for deputy registrars and local election officials

Wednesday,
March
 6th – Monday, April 1st: Grace period registration & voting

Sunday, March 17th: Online voter registration closes

Monday March 18th – Monday, April 1: Early voting period

Thursday, March 28th: Last day to apply for a ballot by mail

Friday, March 29th: Nursing home voting
