We value your safety in Prospect Heights and have two ways to keep you informed of emergencies in our city, by using Notify Me or our Northwest Central Dispatch System

Alert Center / Notify Me
Citizens can sign up for Notify Me and click on the Alert Center category to receives updates (either Emergencies or Road Closure Alerts). Alert Center allows you to view all alerts and emergencies in your area. If there are alerts or emergencies, they will be listed by category. To be instantly notified of alerts and emergencies subscribe to Notify Me or RSS.

Northwest Central Dispatch System
Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for the Northwest Central Dispatch System (serving Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mount Prospect, Palatine, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg and Streamwood) Emergency Alert Program. Some participating communities will only be using the system for emergency message alerts. This emergency notification system enables your Community to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons, and evacuation of buildings or neighborhoods.
